What are "Tools" in Planhat OS?
The term "Tools" covers a wide range of features in Planhat OS - from settings and configuration that a system administrator or manager would manage (e.g. "Users & Roles" and Portal Manager), to other functionality used by general users (such as Data Explorer and Calendar). Which Tools are available to each specific Planhat user will depend on their Role and therefore permissions.
You can view the Tools menu by on "More" near the top left of Planhat OS.
You can pin the Tools you use most frequently to your sidebar, so you don't need to navigate to the Tools menu each time you want to open them. To do this, within the Tools menu, and click on the empty pin icon next to your choice of Tool. To unpin, click the filled pin icon, or you can remove a Tool directly from the sidebar by mousing over the Tool name and clicking on the "x" that appears.
