What are group structures?

"Group structures" refers to a setup with parent/child Companies.

The screenshot below shows an example group structure showing in the top left of a Company Full-Page Profile.

Why use group structures?

  • It's clear to see the structural relationship between Companies.

  • Planhat calculates and displays the average Health Score of the combined Companies, making it easy for you to see how healthy the group of Companies are as a whole.

  • Planhat also calculates and displays the total combined ARR of the combined Companies. This is really useful, especially if you have a lot of connected Companies.

How to create group structures

If you've identified Companies that need to be linked, you can go to the Company Full-Page Profile of the desired parent, click the ellipsis icon in the top-right corner and select "Add child organization".

You can alternatively add child Companies via the tree display in the top left of the Profile (if you already have a group structure set up).

You can have multiple layers of depth - so it does not have to be a simple parent/child structure - you can also have grandchildren Companies etc.

You can use the ellipsis if you would like to remove a child Company.
