A much-appreciated feature is the ability for Planhat users to lock their data view on a specific company/portfolio filter, which will follow the user across different Pages. This is great for CSMs who have set up a filter for their own customers which they tend to work exclusively with, thus reducing the need to re-filter every new view.

See a step-by-step guide below on how to interact with this feature.

πŸ“Œ Important to note!

If you're having trouble finding the lock, it is likely due to browser caching - please "Clear Browser Cache and Reload" and see if if works.

1. Locking the filter

The filter lock feature is seen when you apply a Company/portfolio filter to a Page. Initially when you apply a filter (which displays in orange), you'll see an open lock symbol to show the filter hasn't (yet) been locked.

If you press the open lock symbol to lock the filter, you'll see it change into a closed lock symbol to show it's locked.

2. Moving around with the filter

The filter will now follow you across Pages and filter your view, as indicated by the orange filter with lock symbol.

3. Applying another filter while keeping your locked filter

It's possible to apply other filters in combination with your locked filter.

4. Unlocking a locked filter

Simply press the lock to unlock the filter.
