Introduction
Pages are the foundation - the fundamental building block - of everything in upgraded Planhat (ws.planhat.com).
Each Page displays data in a particular structure based on the Page type. "Page" as a concept is easier to understand when you consider the different Page types:
In this article, we give you an overview of each Page type - what it is and why to use it - with links to more detailed articles if you would like to learn more.
Document
What is it? An advanced word processor. You can write text with a variety of formatting options, and include images/tables/comments etc. as desired
Why use it? Keep your strategy, instructions, product information and team/personal notes in Planhat - right where you work, and without needing a separate tool

Data Table
What is it? A standard table, showing model/field data - an interactive spreadsheet
Why use it? Use to review multiple properties (e.g. data from multiple fields) of multiple records (e.g. multiple Companies, or multiple Licenses, and so on) at once

Grouped List
What is it? Like a Data Table, but with rows further structured into groups

Board
What is it? Display your data in a kanban-style format, with individual records (e.g. Companies) showing as cards in columns, rather than as rows in a table
Why use it? It's a streamlined display of data; and you can "drag and drop" cards between columns, to easily update Opportunity Stages or Company Phases etc.

Inbox
What is it? A way to display Conversation data from multiple Companies in one place - e.g. emails, tickets and/or meetings etc.
Why use it? Use as a shared team inbox (e.g. for Support), or view all correspondence with a subset of customers (e.g. your portfolio, or your organization's top Companies)

Example:
Workflow 360
What is it? Display a single Workflow (one that's running on a particular record, e.g. a Workflow for Company X)
Why use it? This is useful for sharing with that Company in a Portal. Another typical use case is for Implementation teams (or others) who are running specific Projects - you could have a View with relevant Workflow 360 Pages as the tabs
System Reports
What are they? A range of pre-built (yet customizable) specialist reports, covering a whole range of different revenue reporting needs. They are:
Revenue base
Renewal rate
Bookings
Renewals
Invoices
Why use them? These pre-configured reports are specially designed by Planhat for particular revenue scenarios, which aren't covered by one of the other Page types. They help you to understand your revenue data better, and you can work directly from here, e.g. to manage your forecasting

Add Existing Page
What is it? Here you can add Pages that have already been created elsewhere in your Planhat tenant, either in the original version of Planhat (app.planhat.com) or this, our upgraded platform (ws.planhat.com)
Why use it? This is one of the ways you can access and use existing content created by your organization, so you don't need to start from scratch each time

Browse Planhat Global Templates

What are they? Here is a library of pre-built Pages that have been configured by Planhat for a variety of topics. You can use them as-is, or even edit them
Why use them? If you don't have many Pages built out in your Planhat tenant, this is a good way to get started. You can use our ready-made Page Templates as inspiration, customize them, or use them "out of the box"
