Introduction
A Company Full-Page Profile is where you can zoom in and focus on one particular Company at a time, getting a full 360-degree view of that customer/prospect, and seeing all the important data about them, of all different types, in one place. It includes CRM data, usage data, emails, and so on.
You can customize the layout of Company Full-Page Profiles, making multiple personalized versions that automatically apply as appropriate for different groups of Companies (e.g. Companies in a specific Phase or Tier) or different Planhat Users (e.g. those with a particular Role or in a particular Team).
One element of Company Full-Page Profiles that you can customize is the tabs along the top. These can consist of:
Default tabs, such as the main "Overview" tab
Tabs displaying related records of other data models, e.g. an "End Users" tab will list the End Users associated with that Company
Custom Profile Pages - these are Pages (tabs) that you have created
The screenshot below shows part of a Company Full-Page Profile, with the tabs ringed in green at the top. A Custom Profile Page ("Group Overview") tab is selected, and shown in the main part of the Profile.

Like Pages in general, Custom Profile Pages can be for either internal use (i.e. for you and your colleagues) or external use (i.e. sharing with customers). We talk you through use case examples later in this article.
There are two different ways that you can include a Custom Profile Page in a Company Full-Page Profiles:
Include them within Custom Profile Templates
Add them manually to an individual Company's Profile
We'll go through the different methods - how and why you would use them - in this article.
What are Custom Profile Pages?
Pages are ways to display data in particular formats - although they are all customizable. Pages are a vital building block in upgraded Planhat (ws.planhat.com), and while they are often organized into Sections/Views/Libraries, they are also great for adding even more functionality and personalization into Company Full-Page Profiles.
The Page types that can be used as Custom Profile Pages are:
Documents - advanced rich text documents, with various formatting options
Dashboards - insightful and professional-looking reports, with tables and charts etc.
Presentations - slide decks with live data charts and more
Custom Profile Pages displaying charts/tables of live data are automatically filtered to only show the data of the specific Company in question.

Why use Custom Profile Pages?
There are so many different use cases for Custom Profile Pages! Here are just some examples - we bet you can think of more!
Internal Profile Pages - for you and your colleagues
You and your teammates will view and interact with these Profile Pages directly within Planhat, when looking at Company Full-Page Profiles.
Account overview - displaying the data that your business considers the most important, and summarizing the key points. If a Company's Owner changes (typically when a CSM leaves and a new one takes over), the new Owner can get up to speed using this Custom Profile Page. Also, an Executive Sponsor can use it for a quick overview before joining a meeting with the Company
Group overview - for parent Companies in a group structure, bringing together data from all their child Companies
AI summary - compile and display various types of data generated by Planhat's AI functionality, such as AI insights, AI SWOT analysis, ML End User Relevance Scores, and so on
Org chart and key stakeholders - display data on your main contacts at that Company, with more flexibility in design than the default End Users tab
Internal action plan - use a collaborative Document with your teammates to plan your strategy and to-dos related to the Company
TAM summary - if you have Technical Account Managers managing specific technical topics, here you could create a Dashboard summarizing the data related to this (e.g. technical projects) - useful for the TAM themselves, the CSM/Owner, and anyone else working on or taking over the account
Adoption metrics - displaying a selection of usage data focusing on how (End Users at) the Company are adopting your product(s)
External Profile Pages - for sharing with customers
You can share Custom Profile Pages by displaying them as full-screen slides (great for presentations) or by sharing them to Portals. Some examples of external Custom Profile Pages include:
Presentation slides - for meetings such as Kick-Offs, QBRs, Success Alignments, and so on. These can include charts/tables with live data about the Company. You can save time by using these pre-existing Profile Pages as templates; you still have the option to customize them (e.g. with Company logos) as required
Objectives / success plan - displaying data on goals and achievements, which you can discuss with your customer
Managing Custom Profile Pages in "Content"
You can design and manage Custom Profile Pages in the "Content" Global Tool for admins. If you have pinned "Content", you'll see its icon in the top left of your tenant, or otherwise you can access it via the ellipsis.
Once you click into "Content", it'll show in the top gray bar. As you can see in the screenshot below, this is also known as "Content Manager". (Note that this is separate from the "Content Explorer" feature.)
You manage Custom Profile Pages within the "Object Profile Pages" section, ringed in green in the screenshot above. Currently, the only model (object) you can create Profile Pages for is the Company model.

Managing existing Profile Pages
Click on a Page name to open it - you can view it, and edit it if applicable
Use the search box at the top to find a specific Page
Click on a suitable column header (e.g. "Last updated") to sort them in your choice of ascending or descending order. You can see how the table is sorted via the triangle symbol next to the column header
In the "Profiles" column, you can see whether that Page is used in a Full-Page Profile Template - click on the symbol/number to see the names of the Profile Templates, and then you can click on one of those to jump to that Profile Template's configuration menu
The "Cloneable" toggle switch determines whether that Profile Page is available to be manually added to an individual Company Full-Page Profile (which is the alternative method to including the Page in a Company Full-Page Profile Template)
You can remove a Page from this list, or delete it completely, if you have sufficient permissions. To do this, put your mouse over the row of the Page in question, click on the ellipsis symbol at the far right of the row, and select "Remove from Page Library" or "Delete" as appropriate
Creating new Profile Pages
To create a new Custom Profile Page, click the orange "+ New Page" button in the top right.
Your options are:
Create a new Page from scratch - choose from Document, Presentation or Dashboard Page types. Visit the linked articles for further details on those Page types
Click "+ Add Page to Profile Templates" if you would like to take a Page from elsewhere in your tenant (e.g. part of a Section) and make it also available as a Profile Page
"Browse Planhat Global Templates" takes you to a library of Page templates provided by Planhat
π Tip
It's also possible to create a Custom Profile Page directly on a specific Company's Full-Page Profile. Use this option if you want to create something unique for that Company, rather than a Custom Profile Page Template to use in multiple Company Full-Page Profiles.
How to apply a Custom Profile Page - options
There are 2 main methods to apply Custom Profile Pages to Company Full-Page Profiles. The table below summarizes the differences between these options:
Include in Company Full-Page Profile Template (e.g. Enterprise Companies) | Add to an individual Company Full-Page Profile (e.g. Apple) |
Mirrors the Page | Makes a copy of the Page |
You can/should only update field data. If you make changes to widgets etc., that would affect the Page Template and other Company Profiles where it's used | You can edit anything on the Page, e.g. text boxes and images, without affecting the original Page Template or other Company Profiles where it's used |
Is a way to bulk-apply a Page to multiple Companies at once | You manually apply the Page to each individual Company - more manual work, but more flexibility |
These tabs can be in the main tab list or nested under "..." | These tabs are always nested under "..." |
Typical use case: an internal Page displaying charts/tables, e.g. "Key Data" or "Account Summary" | Typical use case: an external Page, such as a presentation you will give to a customer, where you want to change titles and images (e.g. to include their logo) |
Let's take a look at example screenshots, showing how to set these up, and what they look like when implemented.
Including in a Profile Template
The screenshot below shows a "Group Overview" Custom Profile Page being included in a Custom Full-Page Profile Template, designed in the "Data" Global Tool for admins. On the right-hand side of the screenshot, we've clicked the "+" button to add a new tab, and you can see there's a list of Custom Profile Pages available in that tenant to choose from.

Here's that Profile Page as a tab in a Company Full-Page Profile where that Template is applied:
Adding to an individual Profile
The screenshot below shows an example of a Company Full-Page Profile, with Custom Profile Pages listed under the ellipsis (under "Related Pages").
You can click the ellipsis and then click "Add related Page" to add your choice of existing Custom Profile Page to this specific Company's Profile - remember that you can only choose from the ones with the "Cloneable" toggle switch enabled (as mentioned earlier in this article). You can alternatively create a brand new Profile Page from here (as we also stated previously).
