How to add or edit Stages

In upgraded Planhat (ws.planhat.com), Opportunity Sales Stages are considered a specialist type of field on the Opportunity model, so they are edited via the "Data" Global Tool, as pictured below.

Viewing and creating Opportunities

There are a number of different places you can view Opportunities and add new ones.

If you want to view Opportunities associated with a specific Company, you can view them on its Full-Page Profile, in the "Opportunities" tab, as shown below. You can create Opportunities directly from here.

As with other models, you can also view and create Opportunities in Data Explorer and Pages such as Data Tables.

It can be particularly useful to view Opportunities in a Grouped List Page (e.g. grouped by Sales Stage) ...

... or a Board Page:

You can even drag and drop Opportunities between columns in a Board to change their properties - e.g. to change their Stage as in the example screenshot above.

If you open up an Opportunity, you can view its Preview - an example is pictured below.

As with Previews of other models, you can customize their layouts in the "Data" Global Tool, as described here.
